How Do I Apply?
First, let the Campus Fulbright Advisor know you are interested (Dr. Laura Hunt). Then, you can begin your application on the Fulbright Website the year prior to the award year. A description of application components may be found here.
When is the Deadline?
The campus deadline is September 12th. This means you need to have your essays ready to go and your application complete by that date (except for recommendations and the Campus Committee Evaluation). The official, Fulbright deadline is October 10th.
- August 15th – 1st drafts of essays
- August 31st - 2nd drafts of essays
- September 12th - application complete GC
- October 10th - Fulbright deadline
When Will I Know the Results?
Semi-finalists are chosen in January; 1st cut is made based on the application only (from the US side). Then, the application is passed along to the Fulbright commission in the given country, when students may have an interview with host country. Finalists are chosen by April 15th.
