The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 requires that postsecondary institutions participating in federal student aid programs disclose information from various administrative areas to students and the public. Georgetown College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), and is licensed by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. In December 2024, the College was continued in accreditation and placed on Probation for Good Cause for 12 months. Read more about GC’s accreditation status and growth plans for the future here.
